Meet Murf...For over thirty years, Marvin (Murf) Murphy has used his keen sense of color, design and form as well as the building blocks and patterns of nature to create dynamic images which evoke inspiration and appeal to the senses. Murf's multi-dimensional, mixed media pieces have earned him recognition and popularity on an international level. Today, Murf's work is being recognized by collectors all over the world. His contemporary style and distinctive art form has led to his great success. Murf's work can now be seen in prominent galleries and exhibitions across the country.
Meet AlannaAlanna is the oldest of the four Murphy sisters. Her dream has always been to open up her own cafe/art gallery, which is why she decided to partner up with her parents to open The Murphy House. She is also the author of two novels, Annala Memoirs of a Mermaid and Witch Sisters. Alanna has traveled extensively all over the world and much of her art and writing is inspired by her interests in travel, music, books, nature and a deep curiosity that propels her to constantly seek new experiences.

Meet BrittanyBrittany found her passion in yoga while studying Exercise Science and Health Promotion. She realized the yogic way of life has always been with her since she was a little girl and that yoga was her calling to help and share with others. She combines her spiritual connection with nature and the universe into her practice. Brittany's goal is to reawaken the emotional, spiritual, and physical body through a beautiful, moving meditation. She believes the practice of connecting breath with movement will help us to heal and evolve over time.

Meet TylerTyler enjoys painting large, colorful, abstract paintings by means of various mediums including palette knife and brush techniques. Tyler's creations are dynamic and speak to the contemporary spirit. Tyler caught on to the power of imagination at a young age. She is inspired by the mysterious forces that flow through all of nature. Along with painting, Tyler is passionate about human and animal rights as well as environmental causes, and uses her art to raise awareness.

Meet KelsiKelsi has enjoyed painting for years. Using oil paints and various brush and palette knife techniques, Kelsi has developed a unique style all her own. Her abstract art includes many layers of paint creating a three dimensional feel. Symbolism for the earth, nature, and the universe can be found in much of her art. Kelsi is passionate about animal rights and environmental issues. Many of Kelsi's pieces reflect the interconnectedness of all things.

Mission Statement
We are excited to introduce you to The Murphy House, a place where you can enjoy art and yoga, make new friends, all while providing a resource to give back to our community.
For over thirty years, Murf has been able to raise substantial amounts of money with his donations of art throughout the community as well as worldwide. We are going to expand on these donations through our opening of our doors to provide donation based yoga which will help us to give back to the community and the world that we live in.
Here at The Murphy House, we believe that everyone deserves to live the best life possible. We believe in the philosophy of philanthropy and giving back and realize that the more we give, the more we can feel good about the life we live.
That is why we are looking forward to building a community where we can help our friends and neighbors live a more purposeful life. We are offering a way for the community to come together to enjoy art and yoga and a host of other great events that will help make our community better.
